Read and Share Bible - Children's Book Review and Giveaway

I'm probably more unceremonious than most Christians, but teaching my children about the Christian faith is still quite important to me. In some areas of life, I promote individuality and differing points-of-view with my children. However, I can't help but hope and help promote my view of my faith with them.

I recently received a Read and Share Bible from Thomas Nelson for review. After looking through and reading the Bible, I find that my children are too old for this particular book. With that being said, I think it's a great Bible for youngsters to start out on. There are more than 200 Bible stories throughout, with characterful illustrations. This Bible shares stories adapted from the International Children's Bible. Each story is a only a couple of pages long, making it a choice book to read to those with shorter attention spans. Included with each story is a discussion starter that makes children think about what they would do in a situation or what choices they would make. I think the appropriate age range for this Bible is from 3 years to 7 years of age. If you know of a younger child that you'd like to get started on learning about the Bible, then the Read and Share Bible is an excellent choice.
