Hasbro - Holiday Gift Guide Review and Giveaway

Hasbro is known for its quality toys and games. My children have Hasbro toys scattered throughout their rooms and even have some wrapped for their Christmas presents this year. The girls will be receiving some Hasbro games and the boys will be receiving some Nerf toys.


Hasbro was kind enough to send some boys' toys for my two sons to try. The Star Wars SPEED STARS Millennium Falcon Remote Control was an instant hit as soon as my two boys laid eyes on it. Both are Star Wars fans and were quickened to try out the R/C toy.



The package itself is pretty stellar with its Star Wars theme. A coin had to be flipped to see which boy would be playing with it first. This R/C toy just screams cool. Resembling the Millenium Falcon, it comes with a charging controller and a rechargeable LiPo battery. The boys were amazed as they flew the vehicle in the air and watched it maneuver around. It flies for a fairly long time before it needs to be charged again. "Awesome", "cool", and "wow" are a few of the words that have come out of the boys' mouths when they fly the Millenium Falcon.

The LiPo battery is rechargeable, but non-replaceable. So far, Logan and Adam have had lots of flying time with the Millenium Falcon but I sure hope the LiPo battery holds a long time because they're nowhere near done playing with it yet. It's something that gets use almost daily.



Transformers toys are also sold under Hasbro. Ask me to name one of my top favorite movies and Transformers will be at the height of the list. I'm with my boys in agreeance that Transformers are sensational.

The Transformers Power Core Combiners Double Clutch with Rallybots is packaged with Double Clutch as the main character and four car figures. Double Clutch can be played with as the Transformer he is or converted into a car. The four car figures attach to his arm and leg limbs to make him into an ultimate Autobot.

The Transformers Power Core Combiners Sledge with Throttler are two Transformers that differ in size. Packaged together, they convert into a backhoe vehicle when pieced together.

There are a handful of Transformers Power Core sets that can be purchased to play with alone or combined together to create ultimate Commander figures.


Transformers are amusing to play with and they've been a favorite of my boys' for some time now. They can be played with as bots or as vehicles. The transformation part can be somewhat tricky, as it takes some dexterity to get them pieced together just right. Logan and Adam are hoping that Santa brings them some more Power Core sets for Christmas. They've been good enough this year. It just may have to happen. I just don't want to hear any complaints when momma gets in on the action and wants to play too.
