My mom didn't know we were having a birthday party for her. It was a surprise until the morning of. She received nice gifts, some of them being gift cards to Hobby Lobby and Ben Franklin, a candy jar, and tie-dye shirts.

Don't be mistaken, that IS Barbie Princess on her cake. Her 6 year old grandson just knew that's the one she'd want.

My two-year old niece, Gia, absolutely did not like the birthday song being sung to her...Thus the tears.

My step-daughter Emma and son Logan came to the birthday party with me. My other kids had different things to do. Emma and Logan spent a lot of their time spending tokens in the arcade, getting tickets for junk trinkets.

These are a few of the kids to came to the party. All of them are relation, with the exception of the girl on the far left.

Even my 7-month old niece, Zoe, got in on the action.

Going Bonkers, a jungle gym and arcade for kids, is a hit for the little ones. My great-niece Madelyn was one of the many, many kids there that day.

Wow, that's awesome! Two cool birthday parties in one weekend!!
I love how you described Bonkers. Swell for kids and hell for adults. It is funny because when me older kids were teens they thought Bonkers was the place to go and now that they are parents also not so great. Whats up with that?
Looks like fun, but I hate kids places like that as well lol. Your niece was not happy being sung to, poor thing. Love all the photos.
Aw, happy birthday to both your mum and your niece! I guess when I was around your nieces age, I used to bawl my eyes out whenever anyone sang to me-I would also dig my nails into my mother's arm letting her know it was NOT appreciated. LOL
Besides that, it looks like everyone had fun!!
