Wordful Wednesday - Halloween and Campground Closing

It was the last official weekend for camping season. Saturday a bunch of us got together to share memories around the campfire and have one last hoorah. A few of us will be going next Saturday to have supper and spend the night but there will be just electricity, no water. After that the weekends will be filled with watching the hubby and younger son race their RC cars.

Me and the boys went trick-or-treating in my hometown Sunday evening. But before we headed there, we stopped by my sister's for some photos.

Ghosts and goblins, oh my! Looks like these guys are brave enough to enter the graveyard.

Logan dressed as a skeleton.

Adam dressed as a state trooper. He was the same thing last year but his outfit got too small. A new one was made for him, but it was too big. The detailing, although it can't be seen well in the pics, was pretty amazing.
My nephew, Ozzy, was a mountain lion with ferocious teeth.

My great-niece, Faythe, was a Catarina (a cross between a cat and a ballerina).

Me and Adam stayed up late by the bonfire Saturday night talking to campground friends and enjoying each other's company.

Our last campground meal for the year was grilled chicken, potato salad, cottage cheese, grilled jalapeno poppers, and macaroni and corn casserole. Is it okay to already be going through campground withdrawal? I think I need an intervention.

I just love camping and being in rustic areas. This time of year it's a bit too cold to enjoy that here, but your pictures make me want to try for a trip next summer. :)
