Pravana Naturceuticals - Review and Giveaway

A new line of hair care products has ushered its way into salons. Pravana Naturceuticals utilizes the power of nature and the strength of technology to provide a new hybrid of superior hair care products which are effective. I am not a salon stylist, but got the advantage of trying this new hair care line.



Pravana is a hair care collection created by stylists - for stylists. Pravana founder and president, Steven Goddard, has employed his vast professional experience as a product innovator and professional stylist to create a collection of products which anticipate and deliver on the true wants and needs of today’s progressive salon and their clients. He has worked with many salon corporations and is a 30-year veteran to the beauty industry.


Pravana's Proprietary Naturceutical Complex is incorporated into their hair care line, which is comprised of Meso-American botanicals. These botanicals are known for their therapeutic and healing properties. This, teamed with three different hydrolyzed proteins, enhances hair's strength, elasticity, and shine. I'd like to say I know what all this means, but I don't. What I do know is that the formula works well with my hair.

Pravana’s Shampoo are exclusively sulfate and sulfite-free. All Pravana hair care formulas are also free of cocamide DEA and MEA, and contain no phthalates or other hazardous ingredients. They employ no animal testing or animal ingredients in their products. I've learned that sulfate isn't something I don't want in my products so I'm glad to see it isn't included. I'm also glad to know that no animals are harmed in the making of this hair care line.


The different lines of hair care formulas are created to work for your hair type. Other than some frizziness, my main dilemma with my hair is dryness. This is especially true when the weather gets colder. My scalp gets so dry that it looks like I've just excited a winter wonderland.

I've been using the Pravana Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner frequently and have noticed a decrease in dryness. Not only that, but my hair feels softer and is more manageable after use. The smell of the shampoo and conditioner is pleasant and not much is needed when applying. The bottles are big enough that it lasts a while. I'll share a lot of things with a lot of people, but I've laid down the stingy law on the shampoo and conditioner. I like it so much and it works so well on my hair that I don't want to give up the goods.
