I'm proud to say I'm a Southpaw. So is my mother, sister, and one of my sons. Being left handed, I've received many compliments on my neat handwriting and many comments about the fact that I write with the left. Being left handed isn't a detriment to me, but it has presented a few challenges. It seems that products are suited towards those who write with their right. I've learned to adapt to most things, but was excited to hear about Lefty's Left Handed.
Lefty's store is located in San Francisco. Their website, Lefty's Left Handed, gives people the opportunity to purchase their items online from the comfort of home. Their selection of items is dedicated to those who are left behind, the left handed people of the world.
Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you I have a weird quirk about my pens and pencils. It doesn't have to be a certain brand but it has to have certain specifics before I'll write with it. I drive my co-workers insane because I'm on the hunt for the perfect pen every night before starting my shift. I drive them insane for other reasons too, but that's a whole different post.
The Yoropen Standard pen is great for lefties because they can finally see what they are writing. If you ever notice, most lefties write way different than righties. When I am writing, my hand covers the paper and the writing instrument is at an angle. The hooked design on this pen and comfort grip make it a pen that worth writing with. It's a pen that passes my strict test.
The Left-Handed 9.25" Premium Soft-Grip Scissors have reversed finger grips and blades. Being thirty something years old I've gotten used to right hand scissors, but these are much more comfortable to use. I can also see what I'm cutting and the sharpness of these scissors is nice. Paper doesn't rip or tear when I'm using them.
The Lefty's Left Handed Retractable Tape Measure was claimed by my 12 year old son. He's left handed himself. He's an amateur builder and thinks this is great to have to help him build his wooden furniture. This tape measure is made to be held in the left hand and pulled out to the right, and the numbers read from right to left.
My husband is right handed and still thinks this is an awesome tape measure. The one he has only measures up to 15 feet, while the Lefty's Left Handed Retractable Tape Measure gives measurements up to 25 feet. He also likes how the tape itself doesn't bend and flop around like most do. Hubby has tried to bribe Logan out of this one, but Logan won't budge.
If you have a leftie in yourhousehold, the products from Lefty's Left Handed would make a great holiday gift to make their lives easier.
