Grease: The Game - Holiday Gift Guide Review

Some movies can be watched over and over. One of them, for me, is Grease. It's a classic in its own right. Who can forget about the love between Danny and Sandy, the Pink Ladies, the T-Birds, or even the unforgettable music.

If you are a fan of the film or have someone to buy for that likes video games, add Grease: The Game to your list. Released by 505 Games, Grease: The Game is available for the Wii or Nintendo DS.

We received both versions, one for the Wii and one for the DS. It's safe to say that's a good thing because me and all six of the kids wanted to immediately play it. The game is mostly centered around dancing to match the music rhythm and singing to match the vocals. In the Wii version, the Wii Balance Board is used to dance to the Hand Jive. In addition to dancing and singing, there are numerous mini-games jotted throughout.

The one thing that disappoints us with this game is that the character's lips don't move when singing, making it rather difficult to match your voice with theirs.

My boys liked the games that required driving cars best, while the girls liked the dancing most. It is my recommendation that Grease: The Game would most suit the tween or teen on your holiday shopping list.
