Scandle - Massage Candles Review and Giveaway

I love how the scent of a candle can freshen up a room and heighten the senses. When I am shopping for candles, the first thing I look for is scent. I like a scent that is pleasing and will be strong enough to be noticed. When I received the travel-sized Shimmering Lotion Candle from Scandle, my nose was overcome with the pleasant waft of Copa Cabana.

The Shimmering Lotion Candle can be used as a regular candle to give off a nice summer fragrance. Or, it can be used for its original intents and purposes of being a massage candle. To give things some pep, I went with the latter and experienced sensuality with my husband while using the candle.

The new, patent-pending Shimmering Lotion Candle is a candle that burns at 2" above body temperature to produce a shimmering, fragrant lotion to your skin. For recommended use, you should light the Scandle for about thirty minutes until the candle melts. After that is done, you extinguish the flame and apply a small amount to the desired area.

The Shimmering Lotion Travel Candle comes in a square tin with a removable silicone band that you can wear as a reminder to recycle. I like the overall look of it and find it to be convenient to carry around. The tropical, summery smell of Copa Cabana was quite pleasant. It wasn't so strong that it overpowered the senses, yet it wasn't so weak that it wasn't noticed.

I like how the lotion feels on the skin when being poured. It's not hot like you'd imagine candle wax to be and it shows a light shimmer on the skin when applied. I found that it works best when you use a spoon to drip the wax on the skin, rather than letting it pour from the tin itself. Smelling good and having soft skin were just a couple of the benefits of using this candle in the bedroom.

Scandle, the company that makes the Shimmering Lotion Candle as well as other massage candles, provides skin care products that are made with natural ingredients. There are no petroleums or mineral oils. The wicks are cotton and contain no lead or zinc.

They're so good, they're scandalous.
