Learning Resources - Review and Giveaway - SS&E #17

I have worked with Learning Resources in the past and have been nothing but pleased with their educational toys and games. That's because anything I've received from them has been fun, high-quality, and educational (shhh! don't tell the kids the last part).

Learning Resources is a leading manufacturer of innovative, hands-on educational materials for classrooms and learning toys for the home. They are headquartered in Vernon Hills, IL (a plus for being in my state) and their products are distributed in over eighty countries around the globe.

The latest educational game we received from Learning Resources is the Number Knockout Electronic Math Game. Now, math was probably one of my hardest subjects in school and I have a couple of kids who struggle with it as well. So this summer, me and the kids have been working on our math skills and one thing that's been helping is by playing the Number Knockout Electronic Math Game.



This game can be played solo or with another player. You touch the button to roll the dice and add the values. You then press numbers that add up to the sum called. Keep rolling until you can no longer make any matches. You score a knockout by using all your numbers. An announcer's voice and roaring crowd give emphasis while playing.

Me and the kids have been playing this game by having matches. Two of us play and the winner of that game advances. It continues on until there's a final match champion. Sometimes it is played by adding numbers and at other times we play by subtracting. This electronic game requires 3 AA batteries which are not included or it can be used with an AC adapter.

Learning, with the combination of having fun, makes this game another favorite from Learning Resources.
