I'm Not There, So I'm Here - No-Go BlogHer

Do I partly wish I was at BlogHer chumming it up with fellow blog enthusiasts and meeting company execs? Well, yeahhhh! On the other hand, since I'm not there, I don't have to worry about what I'm going to wear or about any impressions I might make. I don't exactly have the most gracious social skills anyway.

It may feel like I'm the only one not attending the big to-do, but Maya from Musings of a Marfan Mom and Stefany from ToBeThode have made me feel better by showing that I'm not the only one missing out.

Here are the questions posed and my answers:

When did you start blogging?

I started blogging in May 2009. It's just a little over a year old. I'd much appreciate it if you became a follower.

Why did you start blogging?

Before blogging on my own, I was a fanatic about reading other people's blogs. Whether it be general posts or entering giveaways, going to different blogs was my hobby. I still do a lot of that, but now have my own blog so I can record my thoughts and feelings. It's also a therapeutic way to vent or to talk about my family. Being able to do reviews and giveaways is a definite bonus.

What is one thing you are going to do this week that is WAY cooler than going to BlogHer?

I'll be spending time at the campground, hanging with family and friends. That's way cooler because they already know what I'm like and they're okay with my weird ways. I won't have to put up any false pretenses with them.
