The Hain Celestial Group - Review and Giveaway - SS&E #10

Every day that my kids come home from school, one of the first things they do is raid the pantry for a snack. I'm all right with this because they're usually hungry by the time they get home due to school lunches being earlier in the day. What I'm not all right with is them having junk food all the time. Although the occasional non-nutritional snack is okay, I make it a point to see that they are mostly eating snacks that are good for them.

The Hain Celestial Group is a leading natural and organic food and personal care products company in North America and Europe. Some of their natural food category brands are Celestial Seasonings, Terra (just like my name!), Earth's Best, and Rosetto. The Hain Celestial Group sent me some of their foods to try and I was eager to try them out with my kids to see if they would go well with my idea of an after school snack.

Almond Dream Non-Dairy Beverage provides an Excellent source of Antioxidants Vitamins A and E and is fortified with Vitamins B12, D, and Calcium. Now this was definitely something new to me. Can't say I've ever had an almond drink before. After my taste buds got over the different taste, I must say that I like the flavor and texture of this non-dairy drink.

The Snackin' Fruit Hearts & Rings - Blueberry from Earth's Best make a convenient on-the-go snack for younger kids. The cup has Elmo from Sesame Street on it and includes a lid so the snacks can stay fresh. These particular snacks taste like blueberry and are quite delicious. My kids, because they are older, aren't too fond of the Sesame Street adornment but like the snack inside.

The peanut butter from Maranatha is a little different than that of your traditional peanut butter. It is a little bit thinner in texture, but it's been a hit in our household. The kids have been making peanut butter sandwiches with it and claim that it makes a tasty snack.



There are other food items we tried from Hain Celestial Group and it's unanimous that these natural food products are satisfying and delicious.

The Hain Celestial Group has created the "Family Fitness Fun Challenge" to encourage families to continue to focus on wholesome, healthy foods and maintain a fun fitness schedule during the back-to-school session.
