FamilyTimeFun - Review & Giveaway - SS&E #6

Although it's not possible every day, I try my best to make sure that my family sits down for meals together often. I feel this is important to open up communication and to keep the family ties together. When we are all together, we learn about each other's feelings and thoughts.

FamilyTimeFun knows the importance of spending quality time with family and have created games to add extra fun at meals and open up conversation. One of these is Original Dinner Games. It's a simple concept, with a set of cards housed in a tin. Each card has a different game on it to get the creative juices flowing. Not only does this game get each family member involved, it also encourages learning. Some cards are themed for phonics & vocabulary while another may be themed with numbers & math. Lots of laughter and hilarity have ensued from us playing this game together while eating our meals.

The Pizza Night Family Dinner Game is a new one added to the line of games from FamilyTimeFun. It is along the same lines of Original Dinner Games, with different themes on the cards and actions for each player to take. With this game, a die is rolled and each player must play the colored card for the color that was rolled on the die. The cards are shaped to resemble pizza slices and it comes in a box that resembles a pizza delivery box. There are 150 different games to play. Although this game is geared towards playing while eating pizza, it can be modified to be played during any meal.

It seems that our family is a lot busier during the school year. With FamilyTimeFun games we can be silly and relax from the grind of schoolwork while spending time together. We've had some definite fun with the games we've received from FamilyTimeFun. It may not be quiet at our dinner table, but it is a rip-roaring good time.

Win It!

One person will win a Pizza Night Family Dinner Game.

Something interesting from the FAQ's

FamilyTimeFun creates all its own games. They have 4 primary writers: an educator/children's author, a freelance writer, a Mom, and the founder, John Pandiscio.
