Learning Resources - Game Review & Giveaway

My kids have lots of toys, but the ones I like most and usually buy as gifts are educational toys. Having fun while learning seems to soak more into their brains and they seem to retain the knowledge easier.




Learning Resources has an expansive selection of innovative, hands-on educational materials for classrooms and learning toys for the home. They are headquartered in Illinois, the state I also live in. When looking for products to purchase, there is the option to shop by subject, brand, category, and theme. Each month Learning Resources randomly chooses one winner to win a $50 gift certificate to use at their online store. You can register monthly.


The Spill Your Guts Human Body Game was recently reviewed by my children. Although it is geared towards children in the 7-11 age range, my two teenage girls have gotten in on the fun and enjoyed it as well. I've been out of school for what seems an eternity now so I've played this game a couple of times with the kids to see how well my knowledge still is of the human body. I've relearned a thing or two by playing this game!

The premise of the game is to answer questions about the human body. When a question is correctly answered, an organ is placed into the body tray. Collect the most correctly answered question cards to win. This game can be played individually or in teams.

Not only have we had fun playing this game, I've noticed that the kids have taken a greater interest in anatomy.
