Blog Hop - Nicknames

It's been a while since I've participated in the Linky Tools Blog Hops. Hoping to get back into it, I'm participating in this week's theme which is "Nicknames".

There is only one of us who has no nickname. The others have at least one.

Me:
Taradise - Co-workers gave me this one based upon my name.
Helen - Another one that co-workers gave me, based upon Helen Keller, because my hearing isn't the best and I sometimes don't see something that is exactly right in front of me.

Jason (the husband):
Gifford - He took an online quiz that said he was a turtle in a past life, so we named him Gifford.
Jay Jay - One of his best friends has called him this for years and it's caught on so now other people call him that.

Shelby (the 16 year old):
Shelbin - Her young cousin calls her that because she has a hard time pronouncing Shelby's name, so now a lot of us call her that.

Allyson (the 15 year old):
She's the only one who has escaped nicknames through all this time. Guess we're going to have to figure out one for her!

Logan (the 11 year old):
Ogre, Ogie, Ogie Bear - It started out as a shortened version of his name and spun off from there. There for a while the kid actually thought his middle name was Ogre because he was called that all the time!

Adam (the 10 year old):
Addo - a different version of his name.
Adam Blakey Snakey Wakey Waid - A nickname that only I call him and he gets a sheepish grin everytime I call him that.

Juliann (the 9 year old):
Julianna Catfish - I honestly don't know why she's called that but it's something her dad refers to her often as.

Emma (the 7 year old):
Emma the Mole - Again, another name that her father came up with for her with no particular reason.
