Udderly Smooth - Review & Giveaway

Udderly Smooth is family owned and operated by Redex Industries. Originally invented for use on dairy cows, it is now also used for dry and chapped skin. Some uses for Udderly Smooth products are:

* Dry and chapped skin
* As a shaving lotion
* Diabetes skin care
* Hand and Foot Syndrome- a side effect of chemotherapy drugs
* Chamois cream for bicyclists
* Needlework and quilting

Some people may be put off by the fact that this line of products was originally made to be used on cows in dry, harsh conditions. There's no need to let that deter you. I received an assortment of products from Udderly Smooth to try and it's done well with moisturizing my skin and keeping it from being dry. You can also be assured that the company does not engage in animal testing.


Udderly Smooth Foot Cream was the winner of Woman's Day Magazine's Best in Beauty for 2005. I've been using it regularly on my feet to keep them smooth.

I got a kick out of the directions for use on the Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, which include washing the teat parts and udder thoroughly. Regardless, it can be used on your skin as well for dry, chapped areas. It feels almost like silk when applied. There is no greasiness or a feeling of heaviness.

I read on the site that Udderly Smooth can also be used on the face as a general moisturizer, foundation primer, or makeup remover. I've used it on my face a few times to moisturize it and have noticed my skin looks more refreshed. The Udder Cream does not seem to have any particular smell or fragrance to it.

The Hand & Body Lotion comes in a large bottle and will last for quite some time. Only a small amount is needed to get your hands and body feeling rejuvenated. Just as the Udder Cream does not feel gunky or heavy on the skin, the Hand & Body Lotion doesn't either. Aloe Vera Gel and Vitamin E are some of the helpful ingredients included in this lotion.
