Random Tuesday Thoughts - Going To Be An Aunt Again

I'm going to be an aunt again today. I'm super excited! Can't have anymore of my own and it's always great to see the family growing. I've lost count of how many times I've been an aunt and great-aunt. We're like jackrabbits determined to keep the family legacy moving forward. My brother and his companion are having their second child, a girl named Zoe. I wish them all the best and can't wait to spoil the newest addition. Also found out over the weekend that my nephew and his wife are expecting. I love being surrounded by the wee ones.

I sooooooo suck in the area of willpower and motivation, but I've been keeping strong with exercising daily with the EA Sports Active fitness program on the Wii. It was rough at first and I almost cried like a little girl. Okay, okay, so I actually did cry like a little girl one day! But, as an excuse, that's only because I felt like a failure and wasn't sure I could do it. My husband, bless his heart, dealt with my emotional breakdown quite well and knew not to say anything to make it worse. The pain is almost nonexistent now and I am feeling better about it all. I'm not sure I'm making any progress but I at least have showed myself that I can follow through on something so tedious.

Can working out make your eyes swell shut? I woke up the other morning looking like Sloth from the Goonies at one point and like Cheech and Chong during their best pot smoking moment later that day. I have absolutely no clue why I woke up to my right eye looking like I'd done been in a bar fight, but the swelling has went down considerably and is almost back to normal now.

I've prepared the Easter baskets for the kids in preparation for Sunday. I've noticed that one of the kids has gotten short-changed and I'm not finished buying for her yet. Here comes Peter Cottontail....on his way to Wal-Mart.
