K'NEX - Sesame Street Set Review & Giveaway

I've recently posted reviews and giveaways for K'NEX Micro-Bot Series and K'NEX Fire Rescue 10 Model Set. Now here's one for the younger set of kids.

K'NEX has a line of Sesame Street building sets to suit those who are fans of Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover, and the other fun characters of the popular show.


My kids received three of the Sesame Street building sets for review. They were the Kick It! Elmo Building Set, Swim Time Ernie Building Set, and Cookie Monster's Basketball Building Set. Each of the three sets include 13-15 pieces and are recommended for ages 2+. Additional building ideas are included and the handy storage container is nice to have to keep the pieces in and take with you.



Of all the sets received for review, this one was the easiest to piece together. My three youngest liked putting them together, but are past the Sesame Street age. These sets are great for toddler and preschool kids. As with the other K'NEX sets, I recommend that they be constructed on a hard, flat surface so as not to lose the pieces. These sets are quite simple to put together, but I would still advise adult supervision because some of the pieces are small.



The included containers for storage are quite neat. They are made of hard plastic and the top represents the Sesame Street character.
