You know what they say about karma. It's a b**ch. I can attest that it's true. I got so mad at my ex's girlfriend the other day that I let her have a piece of my mind. Normally I just let what she says and does roll off my shoulders. But I had enough and felt it was high time to let her know exactly what I thought of her. It was at a gas station not so close to home where I saw her. When I was finished with my spiel, it was my intention to get gas in my truck and go about my merry way. But because I stooped to her level and let my mind wander, I drove off without getting gas.
So I'm driving along the interstate, fuming, when my truck reminds me that I didn't get gas and decides to quit chugging along. Therefore, I was stuck on the interstate for over half an hour until my husband could come rescue me. Three lessons learned that day: 1.) Don't stoop to another person's level. It may make you feel good at the time, but make will make you feel 6 inches tall later. 2.) My husband will rescue me without complaint. Thanks honey! 3.) Get gas BEFORE you decide to go on a mad rant.
